USB audio issue (Mac OS X)

I've had the same problem using Garageband and the Axe 2 as sound card. It happens when I shut down the Axe2 and leave the computer running. When turning the Axe2 back on I get the studdering. Restarting Garageband fixes it.

Input 2 question

I plugged an iPad into input 2 (stereo pair) to use a synth app. How can I get that to work with a guitar in input one in the front. I'm guessing I need another chain in the preset with an amp and cab. Is this correct? How do you send the two inputs to separate amps?

Scored a Marshall Club and Country

Still have my 250ml. I bought it new in 84 85??. Still works perfect. I had to replace speakers because the rubber surrounds get dry rot after some time. Got them from GK. Amp sounds amazing through two 4x12s with that stereo chorus.

Hey Guys, Trying to play around with the vocoder w no luck. I have an AXEFX II Mark 1 latest firmware. Tried a mic pre/limiter into fxrtn (row 1) then into vocoder (ROW 2) preceeded by amp and cab. I hear the mic and the guitar . Vocoder is on but mic is not modulating guitar sign. I've tried...

Plugged in amp today

It was fun but such a hassle w cables ,boosters, pedals etc. It'd a Metroamp 12000 into a Mojotone 4x12 w Heritage G12 m greenbacks. It is too loud even w the Hotplate. The Fractal makes you lazy but it sounds better too. No regrets. Back in the closet now. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

In short...a lot. Read the release notes in the Wiki. Its better than not having one if that's what you can afford. The original was a very capable and great sounding unit.

When I tried the variac setting it sounded very similar to what my Metropolis 12000 series did on the variac setting. The feel became a little spongier and loose and distorted a little easier. I mostly used it in the regular position. It was a little tighter. I'm impressed with this new feature...

Some good alternatives to the active Atomic CLR

Playing through M-audio av40's? (or other cheap powered monitors)

ac/dc question

Pretty sure that is Angus on the beginning. Second guitar comes in at the chorus. Their sound has less gain than you think, at least on the early stuff. there is a clip on yt of Scott ian from Anthrax playing thru Angus's rig backstage at a show. A wizard 100 watt . It sounds just like Angus...

Has anyone done any comparisons of the brown sound patch pre and post 11. It seems like the gain is different. To my ears I thought this patch was better on 10.5. I know listening for small audio differences is very dicey. I'll give another listen. Otherwise 11 seems like an improvement across...

By the way FW 11 is amazing. I have noticed improvement in many of the models. Strange because I was happy with 10.5. Just seems easier to get a great sound. I don't have to tweak as much. Thanks Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

Another Mesa High Gain Metal recording (whole band)

AXE-FX Ultra - Won't Get Fooled Again

Very good. My only criticism is the guitar tone sounds a little constipated. Nothing a little tweaking couldn't fix. The upper mids seem a little compressed. Don't get me wrong you did a better job than I would have done. Keep em coming. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
