This REALLY shows how a third row of Switches is missing the FC. Now every Expression Pedal is either too big or too small, even the Fractal EV Pedals. This is quite an odd decision for me. I would love when they offer another one beside FC6 and FC12 the so called FC18

which way round? I didn't read anywhere which one is which. The track itself is titled differently than your description. The overtone behavior is still different and bloody obvious so for me it doesn't matter which way round. For me first clip is Axe Fx and second one is MKV

sorry but the distorted overtones have a totally different character than on your real MKV, they are way harsher, raspier and squirelly. On the real deal it sounds like the overtones compared to the normal note has a slight high roll-off. the base note you here is pretty spot on with the Axe...

I had this one for a long time. the form factor is good but build quality was not really good and the editor was really shitty. But the angle really helped but i would have made the upper row on a slight angle too because it felt not that great if it is that flat.

Well I had the Axe Fx, Ultra, II and AX8 and sold them all and now I use a Helix because Price and especially build quality is superior. Sound is different but not worse in any case. I'll recommend trying the Helix Native because the device itself is absolutely great. Just too many shitty demos...

Just an update here: I installed the beta and after fractal bot has finished the transfer my axe started to configure it but in the middle it freezes! the screen turned blank with black lines and a brizzeling noise appeared. After a while a shut down the unit but now it doesn't start anymore...

So you have the exactly same issue as I have. I've tried all the things you did. Sitting in an environment where not even a mobilephone works and it's still making that noise. even with very low gain. Every Amp is doing this in the axe fx 2. Reinstalled the firmware but nothing changed. Tried...

Well, my friends Ultra don't has this bug! And none of the amps in the studio I was. Wanted to record my tracks at home but now it seems that I have to borrow an amp and go to the studio which increases the costs for the album dramatically.

I'm having really big issues with distorted sounds. It's not that annoying in a live or rehearsal situation but for recording it's a no go! In the mp3 you can hear the noisefloor after strong palm muted chords. I've tried it with a accurate gate setting but nothing helps. even the smallest...

Mavericks Freezing Axe Fx ?

Same here, my Axe Fx freezes since a while. don't know where it comes from, either FW12 or Mavericks. I try to play it for a while without the USB connected and I'll see.
