    I just do it similar to the @paulmapp8306 way and turn the volume down on the global EQ then, with the AF2 outputs and Matrix attenuators set fully clockwise, raise the global EQ Volume to as loud as I'll ever need it or the rig will take.

    Luckily here in the EU the voltage standard is 230v +10%/-6%. This is handy as it means that I can throw 253v AC at my power amp for trve kvlt maximum brootalz, as I believe young people and gangsta rappers say. YVMV

    I set the GT1500FX-BD's attenuators fully clockwise (i like the power amp to see all of the signal). I then use the global EQ for the output to set the max signal out of the AF2. Then I use the o/p knob on the front of the AF2 to turn things down.

    @caljoe, I run my AF2 through a GT15000FXBD in to a 4x12 and it sounds well weapon. When it come to standing up to the traditional amps, it finishes the fight.

    I use the AF2 into the Matrix into the 4x12. Nothing is switched off, but I don't have cab sims for patches I use with the 4x12. If I was to use presets with cab sims, I'd disable cab sims. Power amp sim stays on always for me.

    After one embarrassing event I carry a GSP1101 with me, as well as a spare PSU and the reboot chip installed. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I've been there when good things go bad. If I was touring I'd have Sussi at G66 on speed dial.

    I believe that with FRFR (I've got 2 x Matrix CFR12) you sound at different volume levels is more consistent. With my Marshall 4x12, I need to rev it up to get a great sound out of it. I am willing to be corrected as I've only had the 4x12 a couple of weeks.

    The MFC is alright. I've had to get under the hood and reroute a bit of the electronics to make it work for me; however, it's an OK little unit. It is robust as fk, and will take 19 1/2 stone of guitarist stamping the cobblers out of it.
