Doesn’t come even close to what the Mimiq does. This is why Petrucci is still using the Mimiq in his multi-thousand dollar rack. Try the fake mimiq block live and you will never do that again.

I'm using the "big one", but as you say, pretty sure, that the "mini" version would do exactly, what I need. I tried to use it in full stereo configuration, but it affected both amp lines too much and got phasy. So my approach was to "leave one side alone" and just process the second amp. Works...

Celestion F12-X200

I would not call the F12-X200 100 % FRFR. They have a certain "hump" and beam, imho, that is very untypical for the other FRFR-coax speakers I have heard till now. They have a bit more "guitar speaker feel" than others, but they still need IRs to not crush your eardrums.

Why do you take the 96 khz folder? The Axefx can only handle 48 khz. Maybe that‘s the reason for the files not showing up? And you need to use the browser function in the Axe Edit and open the directory there. After that, you should be able to drag &drop the into the user area.

Are you sure, you have the V2-series cab packs or are this the old ones with "VH" in the name? The VR1 ribbon mike can be found with the naming V2-MB1992-r-VR1..... the X1R ribbon mike can be found with the naming V2-MHB412-r-X1R the "r" stands for ribbon.

That's a good question. Using a lot of Waves-plugins, I would say. that even the IR1 from Waves could do the job. But there is also a very good convolution plugin in Studio One Pro from Presonus (I use that DAW for years, I really love it)

I'm really looking forward to trying that stuff with our 1965 Vox AC30 TB cab pack. The 1370ms folders have already been included into our cabpack, but I can't try it yet. Unfortunately I only have the MK1.

When I read that Villeneuve will make THIS movie, I had goosebumps. This gonna be by far the most frakkin' epic movie of the last years (Bladerunner 2049 was phenomenal) . I know the story of dune by heart, but I know, I will love it.

MF stands for Midfield. It‚s a shot of the cab with more distance than the close mic shots. I really should upgrade our manuals for more detailed information. :-) Glad, you like it!!

You should find IRs of the tweeter in this cab pack. We did some shots of the tweeter with 2 different microphones, as far as I remember.
