Mac into FM3 via USB - can't get it to work

Hi, New here and am trying to use the FM3 as an interface. Have a newer MacBook Pro connected via usb and can select FM3 as the output on the Mac. I can't figure out what to do on the FM3 side...please help. Thanks

Tom Anderson vintage tremolo opinions

Hi curious how folks feel about the TAG vintage tremolo. Considering a new axe but can’t decide on the vintage vs the non fine tuner Floyd. Not a huge user but want a good ol VH dive bomb on occasion. Would appreciate any info you feel like sharing

Looking for 24.75 with Floyd

This is seemingly a narrow field. I have small hands and seem to do better on a shorter scale Looking for good playing, beefy sounding 24.75 dual hum. Preferably mahogany body/neck with maple top. Looking in the $2-4K range Options I see are: Les Paul Axcess possibly some ESP's Friedman Noho24...

Using actual drive/boost pedals

Just curious if anyone has tried using a real OD or boost pedal and if so how that worked? I got rid of all my pedals when I got the Axe II and am wondering if a clean booster or TS9 might come in handy and add a further sense of realism to the picture?

Wah using auto engage retuns on when changing patches

I have a mission ep1 set to auto engage but when i change patches the wah is on....what am i doing wrong?

WTF happened presets have scrambled letters and now don't work

I don't know what happened...I loaded 3.04 earlier in the week and it seemed to work fine. Now I am getting strange names to the presets like @AS Lead 1 for #34 (FAS Lead 1) and they don't work. It also seems to power cycle every few presets. What has happened? The unit seems to be messed...

Help with Noise Gate

Can someone give me some specific settings for each noise gate parameter specifically for use in a high gain patch to cut some of the noise out. Also looking to setup an additional gate after the amp block to help with the noise. Please give me as much details on each setting as you can. Thanks

Expression Pedal question

When using an exp pedal with the MFC101 does the exp pedal count as an instant access switch. In other words with the EP attached do you have to dedicate an IA switch to it or not....looking to setup something for a wah primarily

Will wireless in ear monitors work as nearfield monitors?

I'm wanting to go FRFR and wonder if I could use a wireless IEM system in place of nearfield monitors. Put another way will the IEM's be flat like the nearfield monitors? I'm looking at a QSC or Verve powered speaker for live use and figure I could use the IEM's for that too. If the IEM's...

Need complete FRFR solution

I'm looking for something that will suffice as powered nearfield monitors and a live FRFR speaker. I don't have to go stereo either, mono will be fine. I know a lot of people use QSC for FBT verve...wonder how flat their response is compared to higher end studio monitors or higher end powered...

will the Axe-FX control a Randall MTS preamp via midi

Can the Axe-FX change the channels on a 4channel midi preamp....also using the rocktron all access controll. New to all this and want to make sure it will work before buying the MTS. Also just want to use the MTS on some presets not all so can it use an external preamp on a preset basis...

New Axe-FX std owner having some issues

I obviously have tons to learn and am not sure where to start but I have a problem in that I'm getting a digital sounding backlash/distortion after playing a note. If I turn down the input and output levels it goes away but so does most of the tone. I'm using a 50W stereo VHT into a stereo...

New Axe FX user having problems getting started

I just got a std AxeFX and am attempting to run it into a VHT 50/50 amp. I'm running the two outputs on Output 1 to the Ch A and B inputs on the VHT, but I get no sound. Cab and power amps are turned off on the global settings...still nothing. The VHT powers up and appears to be working...
