input 2 for wireless

Hey all, I am wondering is anyone using input 2 for wireless? I have my axe3 in a giant rolling rack that gets moved all over and thought using the XLR m/f cables would be more secure instead of a XLR to balanced 1/4 to the input 1 on the fractal. Thoughts?

CONCERT 6G12 - G3?
