    I really doubt it. The only reasons there was a waitlist in the first place are the huge initial demand followed by component shortages. They said the rush of people on the initial waitlist dropped off by about half every day. It should start picking up pretty soon.

    You can add what’s called a “conformal coating” to waterproof the PCB, but I don’t know how to waterproof the switches or sockets. I’d imagine the displays could waterproofed with a properly applied layer of waterproof clear tape, but I’ve never tried it.
