I do! I use the HD-800s with either a Grace m903 or Benchmark DAC-1 converter/ Headphone amp. It is an awesome rig!

Universal Audio Apollo And Plug-Ins

I have 3 UAD-2 Quads and almost all of the plugins. I use them daily on major label records and they are indespensable to my work and workflow. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The Dual Drive is the exact same circuit at the Super Drive. It just provides a foot switch to shift between the low and high gain inputs and adds a separate gain control for the low in. It's a killer head I have used on countless records. Kato

Axe II & MFC Question - MFC Following Axe?

Yeah, I have an issue with this behavior as well. It is actually quite cumbersome in the studio and I hope it is on a list somewhere to be dealt with and updated. Obviously since the tuner and tempo displays work on the MFC, I would guess the technology is in place for proper 2way communication...

Well, I definitely dial up a factory preset as a launching point and then tweak with abandon (usually beyond the point of preset recognition!). I love combining/ mixing amps together. A super high gainer with a sweet tubey boutique-y clean for clarity then jamming those into non standard choice...

Headphones for AXE-FX 2

To me, it depends how crazy and fussy you want to be. My goto's are my Grado SR225i's for comfort and "speaker- likeness" and my Ultimate Ears UE Reference Pro in-ears for isolation and excessive detail.
