    hehe, I need to learn to read again it seems. I think setting up the axe as an aggregate device on your mac is your solution. My machine is set up to use 48k as the standard bitrate all over (internal soundcard, RME fireface 800 and axe ofc) and I connect the axe to the fireface via spdif.

    No, I don't have a MFC yet. But it seems to be solved now, I hooked up my old midi cables and updated the firmware (for the fourth time) and patches through my T.C. Impact twin. Might be something dodgy stuff with axe-edit.
