Hi, I bought an EVH Striped last month that I absolutely loved.... the honeymoon ended when I came to change the strings. I have been using Ernie Ball 009 - 042 for the past 25 years (!!) and never really given string choice much thought but these new strings changed the sound of this guitar...

JM45 Jumped - Wow!

And I have to say this is one hell of a guitar for the money ( I paid £420 ex vat) Neck is wonderful, paint is flawless, pickup sounds great, floyd is great - what's not to love :-)

Expression pedal better than midi?

Hi, I'm thinking that an expression pedal would (in theory) be a better bet for control of Wah vs a midi controller ( 128 steps of midi vs infinitely variable expression pedal?) Is this true? If it's true does it make any noticeable difference in the real world? Am I talking bo**ocks? Cheers...
