Axe Fx Ultra - Best "Budget" Amp Modeler in 2020? :)

unfortunately line 6 still hasn't cracked it amp modelling wise... way too cold and sterile, and the cabs dont sound like they are moving any air. i think the headrush is much closer. effects wise the helix is unsurpassed, since i am a synth guy and the line 6 synths are absolutely fantastic...

Axe edit question

0.9.191. If I can't save banks ABC then what's the point of importing them? Am I missing something?☺ Should clarify, when I hooked myaxe fx up to axe edit it showed the previous owners syx IRS and it just forgets mine. However I know I can still use axe edit to amend patches even if I have to...

Axe edit question

So every time I restart axe edit, all my banks haven't been saved nor my user cabs, but they load onto axe fx OK. I'm pressing every save button I can see, no effect, do I need to be saving my axe edit session to a specific place? Thanks!

Hi I'm connecting my new standard to one of my powered speakers but the fractal just sends the dry signal to the speakers. I have no idea what's happening or the name for it so the search function didn't work. Please help. Joe

thanks so much guys. sounds like the axe-fx can do pretty much everything i need it to then more. the routing options you mentioned seem very versatile, and i would have to agree, the amp sims i have heard sound very good on their own. even my dad was impressed heh. i think i'm going to sell...
