Judging by the photos, it looks as though Voes mounts and connects the internal jacks via a circuit board (they don't appear to be screwed into the chassis). If that is so, while not the most rugged design choice, this greatly helps to cut the chassis size down. RJM has chosen to screw the jacks...

Setting up an RME Fireface UCX with the Axe-Fx II.

The sample rate sync issue was solved by setting the UCX clock source to internal, as Bakerman suggested above. Now the UCX input status from the Axe-Fx shows the sample rate locked at 48 kHz over SPDIF coax. Thank you! :D

Setting up an RME Fireface UCX with the Axe-Fx II.

Most noise is gone, but signal distortion still remains when going into the front of the Axe-Fx (it's Main Input Source to Analog Input 1) with SPDIF out to the Fireface UCX. So the DI into the Fireface UCX does seem to be introducing the noise issue.

Ah! So the ol' Axe-Fx II Realtime SysEx strikes again! Thanks to everyone's help, I've successfully updated my 12+ to the new v2.01 firmware. :D FAMC also quickly responded saying "Error 001 is either a corrupt file, or MIDI data coming in." Great to hear that v2.01 will resolve this...

On March 14, I received my LF+ 12+ via FedEx, but it has something wrong with it and has to be exchanged. Once in a while a single IA slot on the controller will bug out (see photo below). The last time it happened it was my Amp X/Y IA slot on button #6. I walked away from my rig for about 15...

BOSS 500.. low or hi impedance?

See the product photos above of the 2 models. If using in an audio path, one model is mono capable, the other is stereo capable. Both have expression jacks. Use the expression jack to plug into your MIDI controller, Axe-Fx, or other device you wish to control.

Any of the Mission pedals that feature a switch will require 2 of the 4 expression pedal jacks on my 12+. I'm not comfortable with that at this point.

I set the SysEx ID on the 12+ back to 124 (factory default). The editor is now working on my PC. :)

Now I'm having trouble connecting the 12+ to it's software editor. I've installed the editor and driver on both a Mac and a PC, and tried two different USB cables. The software keeps saying "Liquid-Foot+ Series Device Not Found".

Thanks guys. I got the auto-load feature working now. All 384 presets of my Axe-Fx II are now in sync with my 12+, and it only took about a minute to complete. The trick is you must have the Axe-Fx II named exactly as "AXE-FX2" in the 12+. :D

Okay, I replaced the two 5-pin MIDI cables with a single 7-pin MIDI cable (from 12+ MIDI Out to Axe-Fx II MIDI In). Program changes are still working fine, but the 12+ still says "Device Not Found" when I try to perform an auto-load.

I have MIDI cables connected to and from both units, and can already make program changes on the Axe-Fx II. When I try to perform an auto-load on the 12+, it's saying "Device Not Found".

If I restore the factory banks, the name of each preset is on the unit. They all go blank again once I cycle power.

noise when setting Main Input Source to USB

I'm using a laptop. The Axe-Fx II is the only device plugged into it. Switching to battery power did not eliminate the noise.
