Need help with delay separation/clarity.

I can hear delay in this lesson but not in original performance all sounds "rockabilly"ish but might be wrong. Someone mentioned reverb and i think that's where it leads to. Love that riff btw!

Bass heavy?

I have noticed that change since previous FW update. In general it used to be either fizzy or bass heavy modes and now it looks like were back to bass heavy mode again. It's hard to dial it out even with Cliffs clues... i'll try to play with EQ a bit more to see what's causing such. Yet this FW...

Someone done tonal comparison back in the past and the results were surprising as two units actually sounded a bit different... that was about 2 years ago because seemingly Mark 2 has some "secreat sauce" albieit I can't confirm it or deny it because I wasn't in the room with the guy doing...

Am I crazy? (Quantum 1.05 Question)

Thats how I approach my sounds since quantum. It used to take me a lot of EQ'ing but now it's quiacker to find what youre after. The only trick I'd say and whats helpfull is when you actually had a chance to play amp youre trying to mimic.

Can't get good recording tones, what am I doing wrong?

My quick reply is going to be about muffled tone you've got where Silent has more opened sound but I do get what you're saying I was struggling the same with creating good recording tones.

Two tones simulataneously?

Its nearly impossible to separate the tones and play arpeggios so you have a clear tones of each... unfortunatelly synth dominates but that can be altered too. I managed to get 50-50 kind of ration when you picking between two and I modified pretty much all the knob values.

I still try not to quit on him... I used to be really upset with Ultra and early II Firmwares but now its really user friendly to to tweak a good tone. He needs breaking point and someone who can see this unit live and tell him why it sounds the way it does.

Ok my bet is on guitar... try it with other guitars change battery in guitar check your cables because you can honestly dial nasal tone out and I wouldnt sell axe. Have you tried global reset etc?

Is tone matching the same as kempers profiling?

Axe is tone matching and kemper is profiling which means that tone match can be turned off and done the way you want it and from I've read only in Kemper its really limited once you got someones profile.

Few factors to check: - if USB was connected to PC / mac - if you're using mfc make sure it's running latest fw - get yourself power conditioner as current spikes sometimes - play under an hour :)

Which amps in the Axe FX do you feel nail the original?

Friedman BE sounds pretty much like Mesa Mark IV or II c+ with correct IR's and eq that's how flexible it is and Matching real amps doesnt give desired results.

Why can't I get headphones to sound good?

I cannot complain about sounds from my headphones. I'm using Beyerdynamic DT770's and it sounds good but when you comparing mixed stuff that sound good on 2$ headphones then try it on higher grade ones and you will hear it with fresh new vibe and sounds that weren't hear able before.
