No matter what..They save as the icon that would be an install application and the title is AXE EDIT SETUP..I'm downloading to a FOLDER on a different drive. But the option of a file type SFX is just not available. Needless to say I can't install any of it

Now I can clean that rat's nest up and put in the shorter cables. I know there's fuzz everywhere...spring in the PNW..,lots of stuff grows here that uses air to move the seeds around...it's everywhere...lol I vacuum the Stage V box out regularly..

OMG found the problem. Had to go to the Preset, -> Edit -> Preset -> Page to XS then select XS 2. SHUT OFF GLOBAL, and enter the CC 58... Ugh..now it works..yay...damn....so frustrating I didn't keep any of the work I'd done and SAVED for this...got so pissed when it was stolen, knew I may never...

I don't have a choice...the pedals only have so much room in the Stage V case. I use a right angle TRS at the Pedal and have two T/s cables attached to them cuz..that's what it says in the MFC manual? Sw 1 is defaulted to WAH...so Sw 2 I was using for the entire six years I had the II, was what...

Ok, selected the first one, OPEN WITH, navigated to the AXE EDIT application...click...they all changed to Sysex.. I'm a hardware guy...from way back when you literally used really expensive toys to chase a SINGLE bit through all the flip flops and counters and whatnot, till you found the dead...

It's a PC and Itunes is not installed on this machine.... Will try using Axe Edit...didn't have to do that in the past..just downloaded to a folder, open axe edit and load up whatever I wanted to load up.

I learned to stop worring about it cuz, the II came out less than a year after I bought an Ultra...the III came out a year after I bought a II and I'm happy with the sound of a II MK XL+./...I don't record. I play live and the nuances are unhearable in a room of 300 people.

LOL All I can determine is it does nothing regardless of how it's set. I did notice that after playing with it...the Effect is on BYPASS after getting out of the edit screen. So, 058 is the correct bypass CC... The manaul states there's FOUR external switches but..there's only TWO female plugs...

The reading said that's why I need a TRS plug for the Toggle switch..That's why it says SWITCH 1 AND 2...because BOTH are addressable. Regardless, in THIS situation..it works....because I don't turn off the Forment/talk box through the entire song. But..if I encounter a situation where I need...

On the MFC Midi page...XS1 is Set to TOGGLE and the CC character is 097...wah 1 bypass. Exp 1 is modifier 1 to the FX. I then set, on the same page, XS2, to Toggle and the CC to 058..Forment bypass. However, that does nothing... So if there's a step I'm missing, it's to make this preset see...

Ok...Mission SP1 (with toe switch)....out 1 from Mission plugged into EXP 2....That's the pedal (up/down) Out 2 (Toe switch) goes to Switch 1+2. The defaults for those two inputs are the Wah block. Toe switch turns it on / off. Pedal is control. TRS cables being used.

Luckily the preset I'm using has Forment on through the whole song. So...Ext 1 is the pedal part of the SP1. It controls the Forment....I don't need to turn it on/off...screw it...I'm wasting practice time with this. I can't turn it off but it works when I'm on the preset

Ok...good plan..doesn't work...lol Edit> setup> XS2...set toTOGGLE... Edit> Midi> XS2...set to CC 058(Formant Bypass).... Save. Nothing happens.. AM I missing a step, like how to tell the system to see the switch on the RING of the plug for this preset? Damn...two computer degrees..computer...

Wait...The plug that's plugged into SW 1 + 2... If I can find a list of CC's and what effect they belong to..can't I go to the MIDI menu and make SW2, which is currently unassigned, be what turns on/off the Forment Filter in that preset?

It's been almost a year since I did this and I've forgotten everything I did in setup. On all the presets with a Wah (forment preset doesn't have a way block)....the BYPASS is blank (NONE)...Control is Ext 1 which is the pedal. (Assuming EXP1 input is Ext 1?).... So, I'm not sure where the...

Thought I'd read...damn, it's been a while since I set this pedal up and never program it..so, forgot a bunch of what I "knew" as I was doing it. Thought Id' read that the way I connected it, those were pre assigned as master volume and Wah....??? Damn...better pull out the manual again...

Current Setup Mission pedal attached to SW 1+2 and Exp Pedal 1. This is hard wired to wah. Fractal EV-1 to Expression Pedal 2. And I believe this is hardwired, internally from all I can gather, to volume. I need to be able to turn on/off the Forment filter and use a pedal. I Have a second...

MFC-101 rocks...for somebody...just not me

Holy cow...it all works. I learned to program in five languages (I was a hardware guy)... This reminded me a lot of doing the paperwork side of a program. Assign CC X to go to A Assign CC Y to go to B Assign CC Z to go to G Etc.... I'm a visual learner...just needed to see ONE video and it...

Mission SP-1 will be here Tomorrow. Now I have THREE expression pedals...yay!!!! I had the pedals and MFC for almost a month before even getting started so, the 15 day window to send one of the EF-1s back has closed.

Thanks, I never went into cc in the axe. What I'd had in my previous set up (fc300 for midi control and midi buddy for preset changes) Most of that was self contained and I didn't have to do any mapping. The switches under the pedals were ext 1&2. The pedals were 3&4 The Five buttons were...

LOL...can't fit three in the case....I was told I couldn't fit two EF1s in there with the MFC (SKB Stage Five)...but the two pedals do fit with the MFC...no room for a third for sure..lol I'm pretty sure I've had the pedals longer than 15 days....It's been weeks since I've had time to get in...
