    64-bit Axe-Edit for Windows 10?

Well, I've owned my Axe for several years now, and I've faithfully upgraded its firmware and the software for Axe Edit. What bothers me is that I've only recently run into this problem while using the Axe. My understanding of RAM is that it allows for better multitasking. So, am I multitasking...

    64-bit Axe-Edit for Windows 10?

The error came up on the Axe FX II screen. It said something to the effect that CPU usage was high or too high. I'm surprised I even saw it, because I usually never look at that little yellow window.

    64-bit Axe-Edit for Windows 10?

Thanks for the reply, unix-guy. I'm talking cpu usage here. It's easy enough to lower preset memory, which I did, and also which helped.I understand and agree about resources, but something is causing a cpu problem when I use my Axe FX II. It appears to be a memory problem, and so I'm upgrading...

    Axe-Edit 3.14 Disconnected from Axe-Fx II

Hi, Chris. I've started and restarted everything more times than I can count. My setup guy did all that lauke. I should have realized that before I posted. So what I did was I pulled the '78 out of the AXE and inserted it into a Splawn Quick Rod and cab hooked into a Zoom G5. That did the trick. Things sound soooo good now I even tried the '77 on the Splawn, which I...

Can I safely soda blast my guitar neck?--Update.

Hi, lauke. Thanks for the reply. No, the neck isn't sticky at all--a little slower than the '77, but it's up to speed as far as playing notes goes. The problem I fear is with the neck radius--7.25. My guitar guy told me before I took it home that in 1978 Fender made its strat necks with a 7.25...

    Input Select and Balance Question

Thanks B-Man. Not sure if I'm wasting my time with the two-row effort. I get different tones doing that. Some I like. Some I don't. But overall it just seems that two rows of cabs and amps gives me a fuller, more robust sound than just one row.

Okay, I disconnected rear panel Input One of AXE. Set Speakers to Main Outputs. Output One of the AXE to Inputs 7+8 of Octa. It works good. Apparently no feedback loop. I recorded and played back in Reaper. The Octa control panel shows channels 1, 7, and 8 all doing their dances. One problem...

Ok, guys. can we do this: There's an illustration in the Octa's user guide that offers a basic layout of an audio system. The mic is several feet away from the speakers. There's no feedback from the mic. If the "Instrument" jack on the front is considered AXE Input One then the guitar's output would be going to the Octa's Main Outputs 1+2. If Bakerman's assertion that the AXE's rear panel Input One is optional...

Guitar is plugged into AXE's front panel. I'm a newbie at this, so the only thing I can guess as to the second part of your post is that any output that comes from the Axe might need a FAS asio driver in Reaper. I'm using an Octa Capture asio driver and Reaper is doing what I want it to do...
