What amplification do you use with your FM9 when playing live?

Exact, does concern 2290 delai that phase inverses 180°. With L/R speaker in the same box it's at least a nice lesson of physics.

What amplification do you use with your FM9 when playing live?

I used a stereoTraynor K4 frfr amp before and experienced phase cancelling issues with the TC2290 delay blocks of my Axe Fx 2 by the time. This was due to the common speaker compartment . A stereo cab would work correct only if it has a physically separated and rigid compartment for each...

Tips for using Fm3 as effects only into an amp

I occasionally use my fm3 at home with two standard xlr to mono jack cables on two Fender Junior amps equid with G12H30 respectively G12M25. Works like a charm, put off ampsims and speaker sims and appreciate. Just compression and a few standard "pedalboard" effect blocks in my case.

    External “Soft” Switch Recommendation

Actually it comes with a TRS cable that will enable you to use both switches on a single pedal input. The other way round would be to invest in one of these https://www.pandamidi.com/4control (accepts TRS also, 69€ at Musicstore Germany) and enter your exp or dual switches over midi.

    Help with new compressors

Did not yet look at the new compressor blocks but just a guess : do you use a "make up" setting ? This setting does compensate volume loss due to the compression and consequently tends to amplify your sound.

How to smooth out the harsh highs from stainless steel frets on my Strat?

Reread the original article and actually saw you added a photograph, nice guitar BTW. Maple neck and SSS PU naturally tend to clear up the sound. Supposing you're on 010 gauge strings like most guitarists, do you think you can handle 011 gauge strings ? That definitely would fatten up sound on a...

How to smooth out the harsh highs from stainless steel frets on my Strat?

Not totally agreed. I've got a fender III trem system on my main guitar (japan 1985 and a PITA to maintain) that is not floating, just dives. No sound problem whatsoever and a sustain close to infinite. On my other 2 stratlike guitars, one japanese squier equiped with a fender standard 6 screw...

No. I never had a fractal exp pedal and works flawless. I suggest to check your impedance range and impedance at low position. Be sure that at low position you are at 0 Ohm and at full range at least 10kOhm or impedance at low position plus 10kOhm.

I met that kind of musicians also, never bothered with losing time on audiophile's stories like : "My mp3 player sounds better with this 300€ USB cable (1cm diameter...) than with a standard 10€USB cable, the sound is soo much more open". Anyway will see on next refretting job as I'm sick of...

How to smooth out the harsh highs from stainless steel frets on my Strat?

    Guitar cable causing microphonic behavior

    Guitar cable causing microphonic behavior

Nice article on these phenomena, for high gaines amps I'd include also mechanical noise translated to the guitar amps and PU from cable pulling on your axe.
