    Fuzz Tip 1: The tone control on the Ram's Head does is awesome. Change it up when you record doubles or triples for tones with the bulk and presence of a giant Pleistocene mammal. Tip 2: Turn up Low Cut (EQ2 page) on this model and it becomes a bit more forgiving of the thumps you feed it.

    Hi there. It is already implemented on the FM9! The VP4 uses the FM9's Chorus block to do Vibrato. In fact, look for the Vibrato factory preset on the FM9. I think it's called "VB Vibrato" or something similar.

    The NULL type in FIlter is a perfect unboost. Set the level of the block lower. You can even roll off high end if you want using high cut. Then, turn the block on to lower the level. If you'd rather do this with a channel of the drive block, try the FET BOOST. It has level and a tone control.

    Your current approach is the one I think is best. Run into two different sets of fx/amps/cabs with different settings. Pan them left and right into two monitors. They'll respond very differently to your playing. If you want, you can delay one of them or add modulation.

    If the A series can do anything "special" it is very idiosyncratic. I had an A2 many years ago and never bonded with it. Even an Axe-Fx Ultra would be better at basically everything in my opinion. Even a little VP4 would be much more powerful, versatile, and fun. ;-)
