Problem with Atomic CLR when rehearsing

We don't play ultra-loud...but we have to compete with the drum set somehow... And even if we have a very skilled drummer who already keep's in mind the hole problem, the drums itself are just loud instruments. We are no teenie band anymore where louder is always better ;) But yes, it's still a...

Problem with Atomic CLR when rehearsing

I just came back from the rehearsing room. My drummer said it would be much better. The only problem still is the feedback...I would like to turn up the volume a bit more, but then it doesn't stop squealing. Does waxing the PUs help even if it's this kind of feedback, that is only related to...

Problem with Atomic CLR when rehearsing

Thank you all for the suggestions! Tomorrow I'm gonna be at the rehearsal room and try out mounting the Atomic on a stand. Perhaps that will help. The problem isn't the volume...I can get the Atomic as loud as the other amps, that's no problem. The problem is just that I couldn't find a...

Problem with Atomic CLR when rehearsing

It would be great if all the bandmembers would have their own monitoring system...but they don't. In our rehearsal room there's also a spare guitar amplifier and I was thinking about going into the FX loop with the AxeFX...the problem is, that I use quite a few effects AFTER the cab sim in my...

Problem with Atomic CLR when rehearsing

Thanks for the answers! I had it lying on some shelf that is as high as a pole would be...didn't solve the feedback problem. Also I like the playing feel way more when it's lying on the ground. Any other suggestions?

Problem with Atomic CLR when rehearsing

Hi all, first I want to say that I reaaally like the sound of the Atomic CLR and I also love the playing feel, because it's just like playing in my home studio through my studio monitors. I experienced a problem in the rehearsal room though. I tried different positions but I could not find...

Bypass the noise gate in two different ways

Bypass the noise gate in two different ways [SOLVED] Hi there, I have one question: I have a preset where my expression pedal controls various parameters (amp gain, drive level, etc.) to blend between heavy distortion and crunch. I also control the bypass of my noise gate with the pedal, so...

    Different setups on the MFC-101

Hi, I guess this is really easy, but I just don't get it. The manual couldn't help me either. So here's my problem: I have my MFC-101 configured as I like it and all the buttons are in use. For example I have one button assigned to each scene, because I work a lot with scenes and a simple...

How to keep global IA switch state when changing scenes?

How to keep global IA switch state when changing scenes? [SOLVED] Hey there, I'm new into the MFC business, so I think I need some help. I've set IA switch 15 to CC#62 and global mode to globally control the GraphicEQ 1. This works fine across presets, but let's say I activate the EQ on...

    Axe Edit 3 error reproduction

You mean this, right? If these ports weren't selected, Axe Edit wouldn't connect to the device, so yes, I selected the right ports. Okay, I'll do that.

    Axe Edit 3 error reproduction

Axe Edit 3 error reproduction (solved) Hi there, since version 3 still isn't working for me after trying out everything I read, I made this video to describe how the error occurs: Would be great if someone has an advise (or if there will be a new Axe Edit version soon that works here)...

AXE EDIT 3.01 - Still getting Error- Communication Failure due to time-out (solved)

I already checked that page and tried everything that's mentioned over there. One thing I recognized is this strange behaviour: I installed driver 1.68 (and as you can see it IS installed), but the control panel says 1.67. The driver version that was installed before was older than 1.67, so it's...

AXE EDIT 3.01 - Still getting Error- Communication Failure due to time-out (solved)

I don't have user cabs in these slots, I just have one user cab at slot 1. But that doesn't matter because I loaded this Firmware 11 clean system file into the Axe (with Fractal Bot), but that didn't work either.

AXE EDIT 3.01 - Still getting Error- Communication Failure due to time-out (solved)

I also got this error. I tried all the things in the "Getting Started" manual (including the clean system backup file), I changed the USB port, I did a system reset, I re-installed the USB driver, restarted both the PC and the AxeFX several times, but I still got the "Communication failure...

Second recording using the Axe FX II

Second recording using the Axe FX II (Heavy Metal tone testing) Hi, I seriously need some feedback. I recorded this bunch of random riffs and I think at least it sounds good. Any suggestions how I can get it better? I don't know if the guitar tone needs more or less treble...any ideas...

First recording with the Axe FX II

Thank you for listening! I was aiming for some mix of distortion and clean-sound to get something ambient...but I discovered that I like this part of the track more with a "crunch-with-delay-and-flanger-tone". Great that the Axe offers those possibilities! :-) Thank you! I hope I exported a...

First recording with the Axe FX II

Hi folks, I received my unit yesterday and just finished my first recording with my first self-made patches. All guitar and bass tracks came directy from the Axe without post-processing. I don't like the semi-clean guitar tone in the middle, but what do you think?

    Simulating Guitar Feedback

Hey guys! I used the forum search but didn't find anything on this topic. So how do you simulate guitar feedback with the AxeII (using through studio monitors)? I know there's a VST plugin that can handle this...but of course you can't run a VST inside the Axe. I run a little recording studio...
