Larry - YES! I got it working finally by using a cheap, old, discontinued interface and an ancient Windows ME laptop that a cat had thrown up on. Go figure...

Did you get it York yet? I had the same problem locked up my MFC and made it useless after getting error 14 trying to do the update through the axe FxII. I then finally found my cheap bought on eBay for $7 USB to midi cable and it worked first try!!! I now travel with this cable.. I would give it a try. I could send you mine to try if you promise to send it back but the shipping will be same amount as it would cost to buy one of these cables. But let me know if you want me to send it to you. I leave for shows. In new Mexico and Utah tomorrow morning so I would need to mail it today if you won't me to.
