Syx. Files are not working on Axe 2. HELP!

Hey guys,

For some reason now I am unable to use syx files that I download from the internet. When I download the files and move onto my desktop, the files show an "@" symbol and says "user 1". I have the latest firmware updates on both axe fx 2 and MFC and am running 10.6.8 on my MAC. I have an email from a friend with his syx. patches and cannot get them to work or anything that I now download from axe change. IT DID Work several weeks ago but now it does not. Thanks in advance!

Try to save it NOT to your Desktop. Try to save it to another folder. Does it work?

Maybe I am doing this incorrectly? I try and drag the downloaded file onto the desktop but my only option is to open with adobe? Am I doing this in the wrong order?
