Nice! Thanks for your work!

Did I miss a post about what is in this FW update?
My guess is probably a lot of the features in FW17 and 18 from the Axe, like:
  • Updates to the power amp modeling
  • New impedance curves
  • New multi tap delay types
  • New megatap delay types (and maybe increased number of taps)
  • New flanger types
  • New delay types
  • New drive types
  • New input boost types
  • Updated compressor algorithm
  • (Maybe) new reverb types (if the new pitch section of the reverb block can be ported)
  • (Maybe) pitch section in reverb block
  • (Maybe, but don't hold your breath) updated pitch algorithm
  • (Almost certainly not) Ultra-res IRs (given how much of a CPU hog they are on the Axe, they don't seem likely to make it onto the much less powerful floor units)

@pedalbuilder That seems like a pretty reasonable list. I would be very happy if the new reverb pitch stuff made it over. I would use it quite a bit! As it is now, I feel like I need reverb after the plex shimmer to smooth out all the individual pitch shifted delays that come through. so that takes up 35-40% CPU to get a smooth shimmer verb in my experience.

The UI has been improved to support double-tap of certain keys as follows:
• Double-tapping EDIT edits the previous block.
• Double-tapping HOME enters the layout grid.
• Double-tapping STORE prompts immediately.
• When on the Home page double-tapping the Quick Entry knobs does the following:
o A: Enters the Amp 1 menu.
o B: Enters the Drive 1 menu.
o C: Enters the Cab 1 menu.
o D: Enters the Delay 1 menu.
o E: Enters the Reverb 1 menu.

i need this:
MUTE option to Output 1/2 Configuration. This allows muting the analog outputs while still passing data via USB. This can be used when using the Axe-Fx III in conjunction with computer plug-ins.

I think I'm mostly excited for this. Any UI updated will be very welcome!
