Troubleshooting and Recommendations for Power Amp in a band setting

Hey guys! I have a question regarding the use of cabs in a practice space.
Last week I bought two EVH 2x12 cabs that are 16ohm, and a Behringer A800 power amp that I'm using with the AXEIII. I can't seem to get enough volume out of the setup in a band setting.
I'm running 2 guitar players through the same AXEIII, so I'm looking for a power amp that can handle stereo out at high volumes. Any recommendations?

I haven't tried one myself, but a lot of people seem to like the Matrix power amps. Take a look at the specs on this one.

Watts per channel @ 4 ohm800w RMS
Watts per channel @ 8 ohm480w RMS
Watts per channel @ 16 ohm240w RMS
Bridged mode @ 8 ohm1600w RMS
Bridged mode @ 16 ohm1000w RMS

Using 16 ohm cabs you are probably only getting about 120 watts per side with the Behringer A800.

Maybe you could re-wire your EVH-212 cabs.

8ohms + 8ohms paralleled = 4ohms
8ohms + 8ohms series = 16ohms
8ohms + 8ohms +8ohms + 8ohms series + paralleled = 8ohms

Your Behringer A800 would be more efficient driving lower ohm cabs.

Watts per channel 4 ohm:400 RMS
Watts per channel 8 ohm:250 RMS
Watts per channel 16 ohms:120 RMS

Try setting your Axe FXIII output level to +4, and turn the output 1 knob up as loud as you need it, all the way up if you need to.

Your Behringer A800 claims to be putting out 120 watts per side into 16 ohm cabs which is what your EVH 2x12 cabs are. Turned all the way up it seems like it should be loud enough to keep up with a band. If not, the only other things I can think of is to use lower ohm cabs, or buy a more powerful stereo power amp.
