Octave fuzz like Hendrix?

I have done a Octavia preset based on the purple haze ending solo , If I remember I have used just one oct up in the pitch block with one of the fuzz in the axe and sound very close

I like to run the drive at min, vol at max, and then add some low end with the bass parameter to add some fatness to it.

Here's a little demo. I added a tracking ringmod in front of the fuzz to give the octave up some extra pizzazz.
And damn you for making me take a particular bass out of the attic ;-)



Preset also attached. It's disgusting. It will own you if you let it.

This factory preset is awesome! How do I tame the octave distortion (scene 4) a bit though? It's pretty trilly and shrieky for me. Using a variax strat model with single coils. Tried lowering effects mixes, tone, trebles, 4k and 6k eq's, and some other things. Maybe a PEQ right after the 2 drive blocks?
