Best way to rack an FM3?

I'm planning to keep the FM3 in the band's rack to fasten gig setups. What would be the best way to rack it up? A Velcro rack shelf?

Use an AxeFx III. Ok seriously, sure a shelf with velcro. That way it can stay with the band rack or you can easily pull it out to take home for programming and updates if you want
Sure, but I'm exploring different options. Did not rule the af3 out yet completelly, but would like to have the option to gig with the FM3 if necessary.

I’m thinking of doing this too.

A 1U sliding rack in a 2U space would work? 4U total with Matrix gt1600.

1U sliding rack, but be aware the the unit is taller than 1U so leave 2U‘s worth of space.

Edit: I doubt it’s taller than my II Mk2. 2U should be fine.

I went with a sliding rack shelf, just make sure no wires touch the lil output knobs on top / back , slight contact can turn off the output easily. :)
Yep, this important if whatever above doesn’t extend that far behind the front plate and has a bunch of cables coming out the back.

I’m thinking the Gator soft case with the wheels, to use as a “carry on” once we can all start playing out again.
