When the Shadows first appeared with Cliff they never really appealed to me, these days however I'm starting to like them more and this is a good rendition. The guitar tone is very good.

Very nice. I've been playing this for over 50 years, along with most other Shadows tracks. I also have the same backing track you used.

One suggestion - in the palm muted bits, up on the C, listen to Hank's use of the echo (I think it was the Meazzi) and how he uses a quaver triplet echo that is mixed well up in the mix to give that skipping sound. Hank used the Meazzi, Binson Echorec, and Roland Space Echo in those early days. https://bobbyowsinskiblog.com/2018/07/05/hank-marvin-echo/

Thank you for your nice comment.
It has been a long progress and challenge to create the right tone with the fractal. And still work in progress
There is so much going on with Hank Marvin's sound. I know there is a lot coming from his hands but also the vintage gear he used is a challenge to recreate.

I think he is a underated guitarist
He inspired a lot of famous guitarist like clapton and Knopfler etc etc....

I am still taking guitar lessons and try to make improvents every time.
So i am grateful with your help.
The echo and delay in his songs are realy important and very hard to create. ( For me at last)
Every suggestions are welcome.

David - another one you could do that uses similar sounds, backings, etc is their track: "Theme For Young Lovers".

Backing track can be got from the same place as the Wonderful Land one.
