Four studio monitors hooked up

Could anyone tell me if it is ok to hook up 4 studio monitors to the axe fx 3? All on output 1: one pair on the 6.3mm and one pair on the XLR's?

Don’t see why you couldn’t but you’d have no monitor control. Why not get a Mackie big knob? Is 60 bucks and you’d at least have some flexibility.

Or connect one pair to output1 and the other pair to output2, set the mode on output2 to echo output1.

then you could adjust volume on each pair with the knobs on the front panel.

Smart. This is the way to go if you dont need out 2 for other things.

Now kind of want to do this for the hell of it.

You could also just split your signal to Output1 and Output2 on the grid.
That way you could add effects or EQ to just one pair of monitors if you wanted.

You could have a W/D/D/W rig or whatever you want.

you can use all 4 jacks of Output 1 at the same time no issue.
