AFIII Goodbye Blue Sky (acoustic with piezo + guitar IR)

Fractal Fanatic
Hi guys, since I recently installed a cheap Artec undersaddle piezo pickup on my cheap acoustic guitar (directly connected to the output jack, no preamp), I decided to experiment with some guitar IRs by 3Sigma.
The pickup itself doesn't sound bad at all for the price but you can definitely tell it's a piezo.
I find the results with the IRs quite outstanding though, so I decided to record this quick demo.
The tone is pretty raw, I just added the IR, a comp (analog type) and some reverb on the axe fx.

I'm no expert when it comes to acoustic tones but I think the IR added a lot of realism and makes the guitar really sound like a mic'd guitar.

What do you think?

I agree! Nice playing and mixing too.

I had bought their Gibson IRs and tried them out on my piezo-equipped J45 and came to similar conclusions.
