Genelec 8351 with the Axe Fx

Hi guys,

Anybody using the 8351s with the Axe Fx? Does the DSP add any noticeable latency? Do you run them analog or digital?

Appreciate the help, I'm looking to buy these and upgrade my rig.

Genelec 8351 is said to add ~5 ms, and Axe-Fx II/III adds ~2 ms. Total 7 ms latency, you should be fine.

I run the axe fx with 8351's via the AES/EBU path through a RME Fireface UFX+ and there is no latency to speak of. Prior to that setup I used the axe fx as the soundcard directly to a pair or krk monitors and there is no discernible difference in lag.

When you run them through AES/EBU from the Axe fx do you still control volume through out 1?
