I've used some Neutrik but they are pretty bulky, plugging more than 2 in the FC can be problematic. Any recommendation that would be narrow.
Are TRS not considered "balanced" cables? I thought they were...“Balanced” is not needed for expression pedal cables.
Anything that has two conductors and a surrounding ground shield can pass a balanced signal. Technically TRS is the connection type. And balanced refers to the signal being sent along the wires -- it's balanced if a phase inverted signal is being sent along the secondary conductor to be used for noise rejection at the recieving end.Are TRS not considered "balanced" cables? When a cable is intended to carry a balanced signal, the manufacturer takes care to make sure that both signal conductors are exposed to the same amount of electromagnetic interference. That's what makes noise rejection work for balanced signals. Are TRS not considered "balanced" cables? I thought they were...
This is what I use......great cables and the price is right!https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=9439 -- cheap and durable. They work great for expression pedals.
+1 for these. I just got them to replace the Monoprice ones and they are sleek as hell. Made in Germany. I’ll bet the flat ends could be filed down if needed, but I didn’t have to. They’re working great for me.Love those flat cables, in various lengths: https://shop.warwick.de/en/RockBoar...42A621&collection_id=D0944173001540804970A146
