AFIII Presets Pink Floyd presets pack - Fremen

Third-party preset or preset pack for the Axe-Fx III
Axedude, you mean euros ?
You shouldn't worry about this, Paypal will automatically do the conversion for you

All those who got the pack, you should have noticed that there's several versions of some presets, for humbuckers/single coils, for piezo/non piezo guitars etc etc. There's also two versions for "marooned" with different whammy settings. I used one with the slope adjusted to my specific expression pedal, but the normal one (slope at 50%) should work better for most expression pedals

This is a live version, recorded with the II, and a normal slope, which is better for slow pitch bending

I purchased these a couple of days ago along with your full Amp Pack. Started playing with some of them tonight and I am really liking them so far! Thanks for all your work, @fremen !

Thanks for updating @fremen ! Just purchased and am looking forward to seeing how you are getting the sounds. Love David's sounds and playing over the years, so this will be a lot of fun to explore!

Bought this yesterday and am loving it! Really like the non-piezo acoustic tones too. I just bought a Suhr similar to yours about a month ago. One of the new non-custom Standards. Great guitar!

Fremen, these are outstanding...ESPECIALLY the Comfortably Numb preset. SPOT ON! Unbelievable how awesome. Everyone should just go buy it!

The Axe-Fx III versions of my Pink Floyd presets are now available !

These 21 presets (+26 alternate versions) covers 26 Pink Floyd songs : Another brick in the wall Pt 1 & 2, The happiest days of our lives, Breathe, Comfortably numb, Echoes, Goodbye blue sky, Have a cigar, Hey you, High hopes, In the flesh, Marooned, Money, Mother, On the turning away, Run like hell, Shine on you crazy diamond, The final cut, The great gig in the sky, Time, Us and them, Any color you like, Brain damage/Eclipse, Wish you were here & Young lust (with the Sorrow intro).

The video above was the last step before I finalized them. After releasing it I decided to review a few things, including the acoustic tones (typo in the Youtube thumbnail ; it's for the III, not the II ;) )

They evolved a lot, I mean, A LOT, from the Axe-Fx II versions, which I used in this show :

After converting them with Fractool, I revamped almost everything, and also added presets for songs that my cover band didn't play before. "The Mauritian tribute to Pink Floyd" is currently rehearsing for its next big show, and it was an opportunity for me to test the sounds at full band volume (we have a huge rehearsal studio !). So over the weeks, I was able to put these presets near to perfection, with the feedback from the rehearsals. Like I said above, the final step was to record myself playing all the songs from start to finish over backing tracks... and then reamp the DI track of my performance through the presets again, with critical listening only possible when not playing, for the final tweaks.

Updates for this pack will be forever free. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I loved making them and now love playing them !

Sweet pack. Makes me want to buy the III. I have an AX8.

Thank you :) That song is the "pièce de résistance" of our gigs, and I must have made over 10 versions of the lead tone, before settling on that one. But I'm equally proud of the sound of many others !

You should be proud of this. I sincerely mean it. I've been meaning to work on this one but never got around to it...you made it easy :). I wish you had it as an individual preset for the Helix so I can have it on my backup :)

At the demos you are using a Suhr with a humbucker pickup on the bridge. I am wondering how they will translate with the DG Black Strat single-coil pickup set (Seymour Duncan SSL-5 on bridge).

Already purchased!
I've found the Single Coil presets
Some lead tones are quite harsh (fizzy) on the high frequencies with the Black Strat pickups. Getting better with other IR selections and more Hi-Cut.

The Axe III Pink Floyd pack looks great - I've still have the Axe FX II XL+ - do you have a similar Pink Floyd pack for sale too?
