Hey there guys!
I just got an Axe Ultra for a very good price and now I´m thinking about ways to integrate in into my setup!
First of all: I´m using an EVH 5153, which is heavily modded and which I love. I´m planning on using the Axe Ultra with the 4CM and just as an FX-Unit. So far so great: but is it possible to use the preamp and poweramp of the EVH in connection with the Axe FX - AND - send a the signal through a cab-sim to the FOH? Mono signals will do for that, so maybe it´s possible to route a signal with cab-sim to the one and one without to the other output?
If so: how am I gong to to this? If not... still okay, as I can use the line-out of the EVH with an external cab-sim - but less variables in the equation are a good thing, right?
