Interesting new strings

Finally some innovation. Everyone else seems to be busy with the irrelevant "cobalt" or "cryogenic" bullshit. Along comes some Scottish professor and invents strings which stay in tune when you bend your chords with a whammy bar (!), and which can be put on any guitar. I mean, I don't know, most chords aren't really fully in tune on a regular guitar anyway, so that might be masking things a bit, but it's pretty obvious these sound better. I'm curious what this would sound like on a true temperament neck.

Very cool. A real, simple, and welcome innovation to string technology.

Pretty-much all my guitars are fitted with Floyds of one distinction or another. Yet, these days (mostly), I play cleaner sounds, so just use those trems to add a little-flutter n' nuance and whatnot. Would be very interested to get my paws on a set of these strings and give them a try.

Hopefully any patents will be licensed in such a way as to allow the broad availability in string choice that we have today.

Very cool though!
