Newbie preset question

hey guys, just a quick question. I’m a total newbie to Axe FX, but tone matching was one of its main selling points for me. I have just a plain Jane Axe FX II Mark I, so does it matter if the presets that I find were made on a mark II or an xl? Also, if they were made on an older firmware or whatever, will they still work on an updated unit with the newest firmware?
 
you need to try them!!some old presets work fine on new firmwares other old presets doesnt work fine on new firmwares
 
Use FracTool if you can't import presets from later Axe-Fx II models.
