RIP.. he was only 37

Terrible and sudden. Reminds me of the time my friend in 2008 died in a car accident (striking a light rail pole in Dallas) at nearly the same age (39).

I have only one Catalinbread pedal, a Sabbra Cadabra, but all their stuff is top-quality. I hope the team at Catalinbread carries on.
 
Just saw the tweet about this. So depressing.

Catalinbread was the last pedal maker I was really excited about back in 2010 I think, and wanted to buy up their whole line after seeing demos from @Burgs on pedals like the Dirty Little Secret. It was shortly after that though I first really got a chance to hear what the Axe-Fx was capable of and decided no more buying pedals so I can afford Fractal's machine.
 
I can not believe it.
It is very very sad.

I remember that the Naga viper had been the first pedal I have decided to build (DIY) after looking videos from Catalinbread.
This pedal sounds just fantastic, and I use it a lot as first in chain before my Axe FX.
I love it more than all the other pedals I own.
Catalinbread are beautiful products, very original, and they sound great.

What a loss for the guitar community. :(
