Ableton live control with MFC-101 and USB

@svaha1728 - I use a Mac too. I've since sold my MFC, and don't recognize the error messages as anything I've seen when I did use the MFC, so I'm afraid I can't offer any real help here. Good luck!

Help on midi sync with looper and spillover

Cool workflow. It's very similar to mine with Live/Push/Boomerang -- aside from using the AX8 looper. I've only synced time-based effects and relied on Live and the Boomerang for loops. I'm happy to hear it all "just works", for the most part. As far as the sync slipping when you change...

    Broadway Stand

Has anyone purchased one of these? Looks like a great solution for a mic stand with a pedalboard. - https://www.facebook.com/broadwaystand/

    After market looper

I currently put my looper(s) i/o on separate mixer channels and route whatever I need to it via the mixer. Without a mixer in your configuration, I would recommend putting it last. Axe -> Looper -> monitors/amp/etc. That's a pretty common configuration. HTH.

Question on SYSEX via MIDI pedal

This probably won't help, but it's a good reference: http://wiki.fractalaudio.com/axefx2/index.php?title=MIDI_SysEx From my cursory review, I see no details about selecting an amp type directly. You may be able to snoop the MIDI traffic between Axe Edit and the Axe FX II via Midi Monitor or...

HELP! MFC101 issue and sure it's not programmed right....

Since it seems you are understandably anxious for someone at Fractal to know of your support needs, you may have better luck contacting them directly through their ticketing system, if you haven't already.

Axe Edit & Axe FX II Mark II ..... easiest Tablet option ?

It means what I stated: as long as your computer/tablet/toaster can connect via MIDI to the Axe FX. If your computer has USB, then it can connect to the Axe FX via MIDI over USB. If your computer has MIDI, then it can connect to the Axe FX via MIDI over MIDI.

Axe Edit & Axe FX II Mark II ..... easiest Tablet option ?

I've seen posts from people successfully using inexpensive "Winbook"s to do just this. As long as your computer/tablet/toaster has a supported OS and can connect via MIDI to the Axe FX, it should function as expected. Regarding usability, no idea. Hopefully others chime in. In the meantime...

David Wallimann "Secret Amp Modeler" Video

Correct. I asked the other day and he replied that was the case.

    What Recording DAW & Interface............?

I use Logic Pro X (user since Emagic), Ableton Live and Reason. I find Logic Pro X a bit "clunky" for my live/improvisational workflow, but otherwise a great DAW. For $200 you can't go wrong. I've been using Live since pre-1.0 and it's my go-to. I've upgraded to Push 2 and am enjoying the...

Anyone using the Axe-Fx with an Apollo Interface?

Yes, that makes sense. I'm using an RME Fireface UFX. I believe its auto clock setting makes it a bit more seamless in my case.

Anyone using the Axe-Fx with an Apollo Interface?

I don't think this is true anymore. Currently, I use AES for my dry out and re-amp input, and the only change I need to make on the AFX II is changing the input source to AES/SPDIF. Here is Sasha's thread of the same...

What iOS application do you use for reading the new forum?

Triple-click your home button. (And if by default it doesn't work for you: Settings > General > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut > Invert Colors.)

    test thread *Ignore*

For what it's worth... It looks like this morning I received a batch of emails from the forum, whereas until overnight, I've received none for topics that I've sub'ed or liked. The core SMTP headers show delivery overnight (to Gmail), whereas the "Date: " mail header was back-dated to the...

Why is Reverb and Delay used in parallel mixed at 100%?

I might add that in parallel, with mix at 100% (wet only, iow), that Input Gain is typically used to control the amount of the effect -- dial *that* to taste. Otherwise, as @iaresee said -- you'll be adding dry signal to the parallel path, increasing your output.
