Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 20.03 Release

@rsvette12 DSP firmware (which this thread is about) does not include USB firmware. So updating the DSP firmware does not update the USB firmware. Each of these updates have to be done separately. As stated here the USB firmware update "is recommended for all Axe-Fx III units with USB versions...

JMP pre new firmware

Another JMP-1 fan here! Initiated by @BBN 's post I grabbed my trusty JMP-1 (ECC83 tubes) to check how accurately I could replicate its sound on an Axe-Fx III running firmware 19.08. I already had a preset using the JMPre-1 OD2 model where I had recreated factory patch 004 "British Steel". Back...

Wish Proper Marshall JMP-1 Rig

Yes, it has a power amp block like every amp model of the Axe. "Power Amp Modeling" can be turned off on the power amp page of the amp block (p. 12 of the Fractal Audio Blocks Guide). To my understanding this then corresponds to the pure preamp model of the JMP-1, i.e. to the real life rack...

Poll: MK1 owners, 1024 User 2 cab slots or 32 FullRes cab slots?

As a Mk 1 user, I couldn't try FullRes (yet). Although I cannot estimate whether I will use FullRes, I voted for it. IMHO the greater flexibility of being able to use FullRes outweighs the loss of a user cab bank in my opinion. I also think that Mk 1 and Mk 2 should (continue to) offer the same...

Oops I modified a factory pre-set, how do I revert?

Unzip the downloaded file and browse the directory with the unzipped preset files using the preset manager of Axe-Edit III. From there you can pick the desired preset. I think it is also possible to drag 'n drop the preset file into the Axe-Edit III window. In either case don't forget to save...
