    AFIII Michael Schenker Riffs

Nice. Michael is still my favourite guitarist. i was asked to play with Ted McKenna and Chris Glenn at the first Cozy Powell tribute gig which sadly ended up being Ted McKenna’s last ever gig. We were there to cover the MSG part of the gig. I used my AX8 straight to pa and monitors. No...

Thank you Anton Aristov, you made my day!

Thanks. Well, for live and being played within a song, the AX8 pitch shift is ok but there are artifacts that can be heard. Worked fine for live though. Send me a PM and I will give you my email address. Will have a dig around and see if I can find the last AX8 backup. If not, I still have an...

Thank you Anton Aristov, you made my day!

Well, if I do have a backup, it will have Raindance and King Of Spades and all the sounds used live. Both those songs had the harmonies programmed but live, they are a tone down from the original 1988 OOTS release. On the 30 year anniversary release of the album, those songs are down a tone so...

Thank you Anton Aristov, you made my day!

Whatever I use on the road needs to be current and available in case of mishaps.

Thank you Anton Aristov, you made my day!

Thanks so much for the comments and the birthday wishes. It has been mine and both my sons birthdays this first week in April. While I do still have an AX8 (my oldest son now has my other AX8), I have now moved over to using two Kemper Stage units live and a Kemper Toaster in the studio as I...

Why doesn't Fractal Audio want to make AX8 Mark II model like FX8 Mark II anymore?

It sounds good Chris. Amps are fine. Been great to profile my studio amps. The effects are not as good as the Fractal though.

Why doesn't Fractal Audio want to make AX8 Mark II model like FX8 Mark II anymore?

Well, I decided to just move on and I switched to two Kemper Stage units. Need something currently available that is easily replaceable if something goes wrong. My son really wanted an AX8 before they were discontinued so has had one of mine and I am selling the other. I loved my Fractal stuff...

Why doesn't Fractal Audio want to make AX8 Mark II model like FX8 Mark II anymore?

With that line of thinking, why did Fractal even bother to make it possible (or feel the necessity) for the AX3 to be able to be expanded with another foot switch? 3 is enough right?

    Most North Axe-Fx III ever?

Keep going up to the Lofoten Islands. The long islands bit sticking out up and left. I have played up in Leknes quite a few times. The last couple of times with an Axe Fx 2XL then using AX8’s.

AFIII Thin Lizzy "Boys are Back" with Moke's preset and plenty of clams

Sounds great. PS, the chords after the Dmajor midway through the verse are Dmin7 and C#min7
