H.E.R. Guitar at Halftime

Did anyone else start drooling at the sight of that red strat H.E.R. played during the halftime show? I’m a sucker for matching headstocks on a strat and that one was a gorgeous color red. Wonder if Fender will release it as her next signature model?

What non tube amp do you still love, own or lust over?

A Peavey Bandit 65. Had two channels and a nice analog spring reverb. Was a great pedal platform. Built like a tank! it was my first amp back in 1983 I think. My H1 fender bullet strat sounded so good…could go from glassy cleans to EVH and beyond. Very versatile. Also miss my boss...

I grew up a football Cardinals fan in the 70s & 80s, those nfc east games against the cowboys, redskins and eagles were great memories…I still shudder thinking about our once great tight end Jackie Smith who played his last year for the cowboys and dropped the ball in the end zone which I think...

Gibson Les Paul Custom - Talk me into or out of buying

Danville music? I’ve bought a couple nice PRS guitars from them, good people, good prices. Hope you have a similar experience. For the OP, I am actually a fan of the stock pickups in the LP Customs. They are hot, but in a good way.

Low vs High Output Pickups

I do almost the same but use Input Trim on the Tone Tab of the Amp Block. I set it to 1 for humbucker guitars and about 1.6 for single coils.

Fender Aerodyne

The pickups are fairly well balanced in my opinion, of course the humbucker is a bit beefier and will drive the signal more than the single coils. I spend most of my time using either the humbucker or the neck pickups and they are well balanced. I have the dolphin gray one with a rosewood...

Fender Aerodyne

I own a Strat version of the MIJ Aerodyne series and I really like it. It's a basic super Strat (HSS) configuration with a very thin, fast neck. All the pickups sound great through the AXE FX. I just wish I would have waited till they went on sale to get one, I paid about $1400 for mine...
