Using AX8 directly to tube amp problems

PC RESET is designed so that no matter what the value /position of your expression pedal or control switch, you are guaranteed that the block will either be engaged or bypassed according to how you saved the patch. Imagine if you forgot your pedal at the gig and your volume defaulted to “0”...

Nah. I tested PC RESET and it worked but as I mentioned it can’t reset the state of your foot switch. If it is on and then you switch to a new preset with PC Reset ON then it will reset the state of the switch in the preset but the switch is still “ON” so you need to click it twice to get it to...

OP said he is using a latching footswitch. Depending on its polarity setting a Momentary switch typically reads “OFF” when not in use and “ON” while holding it down. If the OP were using a momentary switch he wouldn’t have the problem he’s having because he’d would need to take his foot off...

Purchased my first Axe-Fx II and looking for expression pedal recommendations

Anyone know if the EV1 or EV2 have a "spring load" option so that it can always return to ZERO? I have a Mission EP1 and it's an absolute necessity IMO on WAH. I like to have it auto engage and when you take your foot off it disengages. Couldn't see any mention of it on the Fractal Product page.

I only saw them for the first time on the THRAK tour (1996 I think) but every time they've come since then. I believe I was first introduced to them in 1988 and was immediately awestruck and obsessed.

He invented a thing called Frippertronics. Check the wiki link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frippertronics He was a power user of the Eventide H3000 for years. Now he uses the AXE FXII so I'm sure he's got a workaround by now.

I think you mean "the most obviously true posts of all time". ;) Fripp and King Crimson were extremely groundbreaking and influential for all of the "progressive rock/Art Rock" bands that followed. Just listen to Tales from Topographic Oceans to see the influence on YES. Bruford left YES...
