I have FW 1.17 currently installed, I'm thinking of buying the set I assume 1.17 will work with the current set of patches? I was about to install 2.00 then thought I should wait - should I install that?

Wow! It really does sound better...

I think the III has more subtle playing feel on the patches I like (clean and just not quite breaking up) These are the criteria on which I select and dial-in my boutiquey amps, so if I can detect this in the III, it must be a good thing for my wallet in the future

I assumed there would be a handful of demo patches available to try for myself, since $100 is not a small sum Video demos don't really work for me for amps or sims What patches are in the pack? I'd be more interested in cleanish patches on the start of breakup (before you get to crunchy)

How loud should the fan be?

like for example a sheet of silicone? I have a roll-up sheet intended for rolling out pastry If bolted in at the corners, it would be under enough tension to remain as a flat surface, and would not absorb much vibration I assume??

What is the processor in the AxeFx III ?

is it a Keystone Mk 2 or Mk 1? there are a few different models. I used to program the same core set as these 25 years ago, nice to see them being used for something more fun
