    Great post - thanks for sharing this. I'm running into a Micropro HD (Celestion Neo) via the return, and another SS amp via the return, its cab with an Eminence Red Ryder - I turn off cab modeling. I'll give it a try with the front of the amp. Good tips on db output and the dummy plug as well.

    I'm not having this problem on Windows 10. My audio interface is set to 48k, and I can turn off the FM3 without losing audio. If you give me a repro case, I'll try it on my system.

    I have a Focusrite 8i6 Gen 3. Using its SPDIF input from the FM3 with no problems. Cable is some no-name-low-end-claims-to-be digital audio cable, somewhere between 6 and 10 feet. This on Windows 10.
