    USB Driver for Apple Silicon

Ouch. I can read between the lines. Not expecting firmware updates or anything, and it will always sound great. I have for many years loved fractal's commitment to support, but this means a significant chunk of the unit will actually stop working for me when I'm forced to replace my geriatric...

Hi! Yes, I remember you! Thanks for the input, very nice of you to go out of your way, very encouraging re: the price. I’ll check the site out. Cheers.

If your MFC-101 doesn’t power up as usual, check this first before anything else

Thanks. No problems here, but I always read posts like this 'just in case.' I appreciate people who take the time to post stuff like this so that one day, someone will search up their problem and find something like this that just might save their gig!

FS Atomic CLR active wedge UK

Bumping this now that lockdown is over (sorta): Here's one that went a while ago for £600 so I reckon you're getting a bargain here for £500. Certainly, Neos are £900 new, if you can find one. https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/134063/sold-atomic-clr-600 Cheers for looking.

    Axe-Edit constantly loses connection

Can I download older versions of Axe-Edit? I'm having constant communication time out ("it's always the same.. having a nervous breakdown" etc) since installing 3.14.6. Tried re-installing the (new?) driver. I don't have the old version anymore.

    Input Buffer Circuit advice

Just wanted to follow this up to say thanks for the advice. I tried both op-amps (installed a dip socket for quick swaps) and swapped the parallel resistor to 1 meg. Both worked like a charm, but with subtle differences. Settled on the LT1113. As a total noob to electronics, this, and the...

    Input Buffer Circuit advice

Thanks for all your help. Two last questions, if you don’t mind: any other recommendations and (at the risk of sounding stupid) will they physically fit on the board as a straight swap? Thanks loads. Si.

    Input Buffer Circuit advice

Cheers. I see what you mean now about it being in parallel. One thing that’s been puzzling me about the unit is why they’d want to design the circuit with such a low impedance?

    Input Buffer Circuit advice

So, your saying replace the opamp rather than changing the resistor? Could you explain please, as simple as possible, why changing that resistor wouldn't make a huge difference? As far as I understand, that's what the pickup signal would 'see' before the opamp, so changing it to a 1meg resistor...

    Input Buffer Circuit advice

Hi All, I have a Rocktron Rack Interface whose buffered guitar input I stopped using as the input impedance is really low (quoted in the tech specs as 470k) which was making a noticeable difference, especially to my Strat. For various boring reasons I want to start using this again, but don't...

    Rocktron Rack Interface schematic?

Long dead thread resurrection here, purely because I've now got the schematics (kindness of strangers etc) but realise other people may stumble across this on their own searches, so I've (hopefully) attached them here. A bit blurry, but hopefully useable.

Using 25 pin D sub socket and snake to patch

Thanks Pauly. I'll look into this.

Using 25 pin D sub socket and snake to patch

I'm thinking of splitting my rack into 2 modules, keeping the Axe-Fx in it's own section (my 'take home' section), and everything else in another rack (leave in storage between playing out). I need at least the main outs, and the in / out 2 and maybe other stuff to link up the two 'modules.'...
