Ahmed I feel that perhaps it just wasn't for you. However there are many extremely influential records and indeed whole genres of music which revolve around the tone created by this pedal.

I'd actually prefer the digital method. I went and bought an HM-2 clone when it became apparent that we were all screaming into the void with our HM-2 wishes. Adding extra hardware to my rig isn't something I like doing, as a touring musician simplicity is king every time.

Axe FX 2 Tonematch presets compatible?

Spot on Moke! My presets are usually fairly basic with a Drive, Amp, Cab/TM, Gate and maybe Verb and Delay. I could just build those patches again easily. The main query was exporting my tonematch. I didn't know it could be exported as an IR (the more you know!) so that puts my concerns to bed...

Wish Preset Cycle via external pedal input

After taking the AX8 on tour this need is even more evident than before. Really hoping that Cliff will weigh in on this issue. If not it looks like I'll have to bust out the soldering iron and route parallel contacts from one of the switches to my output jack to achieve the same thing.

That's what I'm trying to do now. I've posted it as a wish. If anyone here also feels it'll be a useful feature to have, please go and drop a comment on the thread so that cliff sees it's not just me interested in having this feature...

Yep, unfortunately I have more to change than just the X/Y state of my amp. I could possibly make it work with scenes, but that feature is once again not supported. I've added it as a wish, fingers are crossed that it'll become a reality.

When on stage with my Axe Fx 2 I would use a boss fs5u (momentary N/O switch) plugged into the pedal input to swap between my lead and rhythm presets on stage, I loved it because it's so small, I can have it right up against a foldback wedge with no problem and there's no power or midi...
