Maximising Scene Switching Performance

The biggest lag you'll find is when switching amp blocks between X and Y. So switching amp 1 X-Y or vice versa will do it. Also if you have 2 amps loaded say Amp 1 Y (enabled in scene 1) and amp 2 X (bypassed in scene 1) and you switch to scene 2 which then has Amp 2 Y enabled, you'll get the...

Still something lacking in modeling the amp?

Part of the issue is you haven't told us what amp/cab models you're using. MoP is definitely a MK IIC+ slaved into a Marshall preamp. One thing you might try is using IIC+ in the axe and changing the tube types to el34s. The second clip from Heathen - I'm not familiar with them but 80's Bay...

My rig sounds fairly quiet. I haven't had any issues w noise. Fwiw I also don't use a high gate because I don't want to kill my dynamics and I don't use too much, but still a decent amount of gain.

I have mapped presets to certain programs in the TA to achieve this. So far it's working ok except for the issue I'm having with switches 4-5 which I need to double press I order to change the program on the TA.

Thanks but I don't want to necessarily have to change patches on the axe to change also on the TA. I'd also like to be able to change TA sounds with scene changes but without the issue in having with switches 4-5.

What about trying the pre yellow? That might be pretty close as well. Simeon, have you ever owned a TriAxis? I have one but have never owned or played a Studio Pre so I'm not sure how they compare. I can't imagine they'd be THAT far apart. They're both preamps based on the iic circuit. I'd like...

Help...is this all in my head?

I would rebuild a patch with one amp, one cab and no fx first and monitor it in mono just to be sure it's not some sort of phasing issue. If that sounds ok then you might want to check your output settings.
