    AX8 Rig Nearing Completion

I'm done with the AX8 rig. Here it is connected to the GR-55 so I can run my Synth guitar through it too. My little rehearsal corner.

AX8 Not Showing Up As A Sound Device??

Chris, Since I can't go direct from the AX8 digitally I've just chosen to go analog through my sound board to the computer which works good enough for the comparison purposes I'm usually needing. If I absolutely need to go digitally, I'll either just wire it in to my Axe-Fx II or transfer the...

AX8 Not Showing Up As A Sound Device??

I just found that in the manual. I guess I should have read every word of the manual and not made assumptions. I guess I'm forced to run it through my Axe-Fx II or just move patches over to record there. :(

AX8 Not Showing Up As A Sound Device??

I didn't realize that. Total bummer. So there's no method of direct recording using the AX8?

AX8 Not Showing Up As A Sound Device??

My Axe-Fx II is identified as Line (Axe-Fx II Audio) device in Sonar X3 Producer but I can't find the AX8 in the audio devices anywhere on my computer. The AX8 is definitely communicating with the computer, I use AX8-Edit routinely. What have I missed? Can someone help? P.S. I'm using Sonar...

    AX8 Rig Nearing Completion

If you're considering making an angled pedal board, make positively sure that the angle of the pedal board combined with the angle of the heal-down position of volume/expression pedals don't exceed the total flex of your own foot. The angle I used for this pedal board plus the angle of the...

Depending on the velcro you choose to use, there shouldn't be any reason to take the feet off the AX8, most velcro will attach without a problem. The fabric I'm using on the board is double sided and neoprene filled making it a soft cushioned surface, you can see the dents the AX8 feet make in...

    AX8 Rig Nearing Completion

I use four strips of 2" wide velcro hook with pressure sensitive adhesive on the back, cut to length, peel the paper off and stick it on. so it doesn't interfere with the rubber feet or screws.

    AX8 Rig Nearing Completion

This is not the finished product yet, it's still quite ugly right now but here are the photos I promised, I'l try and remember to attach the PDF drawings sometime on Monday. Those staples are really visible when the light is reflecting directly off of them, under normal lighting, they completely...

Show Us Your AX8 Rig! (post your pics)

The new AX8 guitar rig is coming along nicely; 31 pounds of absolute awesomeness! I still have to apply the texture on the exposed wood surfaces that are currently primed black. Under the components is a layer of fabric glued and stapled to the wood that acts like velcro loop and I apply...
