FM3 Loud Pop

It occurs as soon as I hit the switch, and then once again about halfway through booting up. And then when I turn it off it pops immediately. Sounds like it used to before Fractal came up with pop suppression.

Issue with noise when recording DI

@Billbill I don't have the ability to listen to the clip at the moment, but are you sure it isn't some sort of digital noise, or noise from the computer? Even going direct, I still sometimes get little noises like that here and there. I also have a big problem with electro-magnetic interference...

Tone match electric guitar to acoustic guitar?

I did this a while ago with a Music Man JP11. I tone matched a file of me playing acoustic guitar by using a TM block against a high quality .wav file of my guitar. I used a compressor block to raise the level a bit. I wanted a little compression anyway, so I just boosted the signal from there...

I'm with you on this. I do very little tweaking. I occasionally do high and low cut on the cab to try and roughly mimic some studio sounds. Sometimes I'll tweak amp parameters to emulate mods like Slash or Randy Rhoads, etc... But largely I just plug and play. It's funny that this unit is...

Strange Low End Issue - Don't Give Up On Me Folks!

@Warrior Did you have a chance to try out the factory presets yet? I'm interested to see if it still happens on those. Have you tried going from the Axe-Fx directly into some sort of FRFR speaker such as a PA system or powered monitor?

I need your thoughts....

I am also considering a Voodoo Labs Ground Control Pro, but I am not sure if it is compatible with scenes, and I’ve never programmed a MIDI controller before, so I like that the MFC is essentially plug and play.

I am considering picking up an MFC-101 mkII as I can find one for less than $500. I have an Axe-Fx II XL+. I know the mkII will work fine with it, but is it more worth my time to save up for the mkIII? What are the pros and cons of going with one vs. the other? The major factor for me is saving...

Getting the most out of the Axe-Fx when using headphones?

I would have some headphone with a flat response to get the best sound. I have a pair of audio technica headphones. I don't remember the model off the top of my head, but I think they can be had for either $99 or $199. Either was, flat response would likely be the way to go to get the purest...

Wha setting problem with MFC-101. Please help...

@Max Haze forgive me if this seems like a stupid answer, but have you tried plugging the expression pedal directly into the expression pedal jack on the axe-fx as opposed to running it through the MFC?

A global setting I may have missed; jacking up my presets

@Billbill the downloaded preset won't change any presets in your Axe-Fx, therefore they won't change your global blocks, and therefore will not affect your other presets. However, your global blocks, if you changed anything can jack up your presets, including the ones you downloaded. I have...
