Looking at Axe-Fx for studio

The Axe FX 2 is still a great piece of gear. To clear up any confusion, there were a few iterations of it...the Mark 1 Mark 2 and 2+...some changes in the ports and memory slots would be the broad strokes on the differences. The wiki will have a lot more detail for you... I use my Axe 2 mark 1...

How many prefer patches to scenes and vice versa...also why do you prefer?

I just started using scenes in my main preset...mostly use them for fx combinations within the preset and to make it easier to select something on the fly via the bottom row...vs having to hit something on the other rows...

Solving the in-ears puzzle...

Many thanks for the info all! Been giving it a try and it's not really doing what I had hoped. I agree a full band mix would be ideal, but having access to something like that isn't practical for the venues we play. Just going to have to have a "volume intervention" lol!!!
