How to improve my sound / artificial sound?

You might want to try the Fender FR-10 or 12. I got the 12 and it’s probably closest to amp in the room than other FRFR solutions I’ve tried. There’s a couple of threads on the forum about them if you want to check them out.

The 250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time (again)

A "Greatest" list is nothing more than a "Favorite" list since music is subjective at best. Considering Rolling Stone has influence on who gets in the rock&roll hall of fame,and never gave Zeppelin one good album review their opinion has never held any water to me.

Pantera Tour

There is no Pantera without Dime and Vinnie. They should have called it a tribute and had multiple musicians sitting in and playing. kind of like the experience Hendrix thing. Calling it a reunion rubs me the wrong way and comes off as a cash grab for Phil and Rex.

IR's via my AX8

If your going to use IRs then FRFR would be preferable. running IRs through a regular amp or cab could color your sound greatly. You could put a fx loop block parallel in the path right before the cab block then you could use output 1 for FOH or FRFR and use output 2 for regular cab or amp.

Is the Axe-Fx 2 still good? My attempt to dial killer tones.

To me the 2 is still a killer unit. I play it and use it on a daily basis.Thank you for the free presets!
