Coming back!!!

And wow the Axe Edit makes the Axe 2 so much fun to use. Never liked scrolling thru the menus on the unit by itself. Axe Edit makes it a joy and breaks it down to more graspable terms. I'm loving this thing!

Axe 2 Mark I incoming! Yes! It's been a couple years since I sold my Standard after a 3 year run. I still love my Kemper but it will be nice to have a Fractal monster again. :) To have both beasts is going to be awesome. In a room I just don't get the same amount of interest using a traditional...

Power Amps

Meh..........I own 2 Atomics and prefer my Randall RT 2/50 tube power amp>ISP Sub>2 G-flex cab rig much more.....

3 power amp choices for Axe Fx II. Help me!

LOL. I'm with that choice. I use a Randall RT2/50 tube power amp with my Standard and am content. I would not recommend the Rocktron Velocity 300 to anyone.......

Well.....I'm returning the Rocktron Velocity 300...

I never gave the velocity 300 a good review on here. It's OK but you get what you pay for and the popping at power off/on is unacceptable...

AXE FX II or POD HD500? That is the question.....

I don't know about that. Pretty honest assessments of the HD 500. I have one and a Standard. I use my HD live with my band for it's all-in-one convenience and in a live mix it sounds great. But, when I sit in a room with it and my Standard c'mon it's just not going to stack up as well. If the HD...

Cant make my mind up on a power amp for Axe FX II ? (SS or tube!)

Would not recommend the Velocity stuff at all.........noisy........the thing pops at power up and power down.......just not any better actually not as good as the cheap Randall RP 2/200 that I still own........a good tube power amp like a VHT or an RT 2/50 will put the Velocity to shame......

Killer guitar speaker for Axe!

Looked online for the Delta Labs and Webers.......no dice. I wish I hadn't sold my old Mesa 2x12 with EV's a million years ago lol. My cabs are 16 ohms so finding a 16 ohm EV knockoff is going to be difficult. I may try the EV's someday but I use an ISP powered sub that already delivers the...

Opinions on Power amps And cabs please

I'll throw my limited power amps experience into the mix. I'm using a Randall RT2/50 and love it. No fizz and very punchy and clear.........for your low tuning I also recommend what I have been using for years and use it with my Axe-FX an ISP Vector SL powered sub.......an absolute winner for...
