Deftones "Finger of Death" cover

here's another Deftones cover I tried. I mainly did this cause I think this song is badass and wish they would have come out with it. So I figured I'd try and make a decent go at it. Hope someone likes it.

Rig Rundowns...

I am curious of this as well. Some pics popped up of them in the studio, and stef has orange cabs and a orange James root edition amp, with an axe placed under it. There was also a vid of stef talking about teaming up with orange. He made no note of axe fx In The interview

Took 18 for a quick test drive yesterday. Holy baaaaaalls! To me this has been the best firmware update yet. The distortion carrectoristics have always been something I've felt needed some help on the axe, but this update has addressed it. I spent I long time just playing the guitar last night...

The deftones are my all time favorite band! I just love Stephan's style and think he has influenced me the most out of any other guitarist. I play a sc608b 8 string. I found that the hardest thing for me was getting the guitar setup to sound good. I thought the 808's sounded like crap, so...

Axe into FX Return of Amp - Underwhelmed

This is how I do it FWIW, leave power amp sim on, I put a fx loop block in perallel after the amp and run output 2 to my poweramp. See how it sounds, then start playing with mv on the axe to the mids sounding the way I want. More mv will yield more mids with softer top end and a looser...

Thanks for the reply! I am definitely interested in getting new plugins. I am still a newb when it comes to mixing and mastering, so I am a bit reluctant in paying good money for plugins that "will probably" make my mixes sound better. but with my lack of knowledge is it going to be useful? IDK...
